From 30 September 2026, NEOS Protection will offer higher maximum sums insured for Life and Critical Illness Covers, plus improved new business pricing.
What’s changing?
  • The maximum sum insured for new Life Cover applications is increasing from $5 million to $10 million.
  • The maximum sum insured for new Critical Illness Cover applications is increasing from $1 million to $2 million.
  • New business pricing is being improved, delivering more competitive premiums across a range of younger and older client age groups.
Quotes and applications
Updated premiums and sum insured limits will automatically apply to all new NEOS Protection quotes created from 30 September 2026.
Any quotes created before this date will remain unchanged and can continue to be submitted as usual.
Premium comparisons
All premium comparisons, including existing comparisons saved on the NEOS Platform, will automatically reflect updated premiums and sums insured from 30 September 2026.
If you’d like to retain a PDF copy of an existing comparison using current premium rates, simply open the comparison and select Generate Report before 30 September.
Updated PDS, Adviser Guide and support material
To support these enhancements, we’re updating a range of adviser resources, including the NEOS Protection PDS and Adviser Guide, as well as other support material.
All updated documents will be available in the NEOS Library from 30 September 2026.
