It’s no secret that NEOS has rapidly and significantly grown since launching in 2018. We’re therefore proud to announce the expansion of our team with some key appointments dedicated to the South Australian market to support this growth. This means financial advisers now have their own dedicated and experienced NEOS business development manager.

After helping to bring the NEOS business to life in Western Australia four years ago, John Griffiths has been re-appointed as the full time BDM for South Australia. John has over 15 years of experience as a BDM and has spent over 23 years in the Australian life insurance industry.

Alongside John, we’ve also assigned a dedicated team of underwriters to support the South Australian market – led by State Underwriting Manager, Chris Quinn. Chris joined NEOS four years ago bringing with him over 25 years of underwriting experience in both the UK and Australian life insurance markets and has extensive leadership experience.

Louise Quinn joined NEOS in November last year and has over 17 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining NEOS, Louise was a Principal Underwriter at BT/TAL.

Paul Simpson (originally from Liverpool, UK) has over 20 years of underwriting experience in life, general and marine insurance working in three countries and spent 14 of those years as a life insurance underwriter.

Finally, NEOS Chief Actuary, Kirshan Reddy has relocated to Adelaide on a full-time basis. Kirshan is committed to building strong adviser relationships in South Australia and providing valuable insights into the life insurance industry.

John, Chris, Kirshan and myself are looking forward to meeting with advisers and back-office staff as they get to know Adelaide and South Australia. State Manager WA/SA, Reon Botha will continue to manage both states and is very much looking forward to sharing the NEOS Experience with more licensees, advisers and their clients.

To date, NEOS has built relationships with over 4,500 financial advisers around Australia and helped protect thousands of Australian families. We’re therefore excited to invest more time and resources into South Australia and importantly, to protect more Australians.

A networking event and workshop will be held in the coming weeks for SA advisers to meet the NEOS team and for our SA team to get to know their businesses better.
